Unlucky Draw for Italian Sides - Again!

It seems that year in year out Italian sides always get the wrong or the toughest draw imaginable as Roma draws Manchester United and Fiorentina draws PSV.
Every time there is a tie of the round it almost always involves an Italian side. You have to wonder sometimes if this is by luck or prejudgment.
In the second round of ties this season in the champions' league, an Italian side came up against tough and quality opposition.
AC Milan the holders, were paired against premiership leaders, Arsenal, which was their reward for winning their group; Inter Milan, for winning theirs, got Champions' league winners for 2005, Liverpool. Roma on the other hand for coming second in their group drew Real Madrid.
If you compare and contrast that to the other sides from different countries, Barcelona for winning their group got Celtic; Manchester united for winning theirs got Lyon and even though Sir Alex Ferguson was saying they had the toughest draw, we all knew that was not true as Lyon are on the wane.
Porto for winning their group got Schalke, Sevilla got Fernerbache and Chelsea got Olympiakos. I am sure AC Milan and Inter Milan would have preferred to have got Schalke, Olympiakos or Lyon and Roma for finishing runners up would not have minded getting Sevilla or Porto as opposed to Real Madrid.
Now the ¼ finals draw has come out and Roma are pitted against Manchester united, a team that beat them 7-1 last season at the same stage and they also had in their groups stages whilst the likes of Chelsea and Barcelona, not content with getting the easiest draws the last time round have been handed another boost by pitting them against Fenerbahce and Schalke 04 respectfully.
In the UEFA cup, Fiorentina's reward for disposing of stubborn sides like Rosenborg of Norway that went out of champions' league and Everton is to get another champions' league reject PSV avoiding relative novices Zenith Petersburg and Getafe.
If an Italian side is to triumph this season it would be no thanks to the draw as they have been either very unlucky or very hard done by.
Italy in the European championship also happen to be drawn in far and away the toughest group that includes Holland, Romania and France.
