I am very often in contact with many people that want to learn the Italian language, and so I hear a lot of different reasons or circumstances by which they learned or want to learn this beautiful language. So it struck me that I should write down all the reasons that people have chosen to speak Italian. I thought that the list of the top 10 reasons for speaking Italian would be interesting for you to see. See if you can find yourself in this list.
#1 - Love the Sound of the Italian Language
Italian is a very beautiful language. Many people love to hear people talk Italian. It is even more enjoyable than just listening to Italian. Italian spoken in your own voice is very similar to being able to sing. Italian is full of vowels and makes it very easy to pronounce. It is no wonder why many operas are written in Italian. If you like the arts, you most likely have a natural inclination to Italian.

Speaking Italian is a very physical experience. It is a language that goes very well with hand gestures. There is a whole aura around the Italian experience that instantly transforms people to a very positive self-image. Since it is a very unique experience, many people know that speaking Italian in itself makes them a very physically attractive person.

Italians are very warm people. Anywhere that I have met them, they have always been warm, generous and affectionate. Anyone can see why you would want to learn Italian to talk more with Italians. I have spent time in many Italian homes (in Italy and the U.S.) and I have remembered these times throughout my life. Luckily, at the time I spoke Italian.

Italian history, Italian architecture, and the overall Italian experience that is part of everyday life all over the world, is fantastic. Many people have told me that experiencing this through the language gives them a better understanding of the people. Many Italians live now in English speaking countries. These people have great stories to tell. I have listened to hours and hours of these interesting people and their stories. What better way to listen to their stories than in their native Italian Language.

A lot of people learned how to speak Italian in school at some point and wish now to spend time to brush up their Italian language skills. They had enjoyed Italian so much after studying it that they have now returned to improving the skills.
